Pumpkin Patch Time!

 

I wanted to be the best dad and surprise my family with a visit to the Kula Farms pumpkin patch.

But oh wait they don't open on Monday, so the park down the road will do.

Meli is always trying to be like her big sister.

 Meli is second.

 To make up for my epic fail as a father, we revisited the pumpkin patch, but this time we could go in.

 

 Norah was quick to find her pumpkin.

This day made for a happy family.

Norah's Day

Norah got to pick everything we did today. For breakfast, she ordered eggs. Then out of every possible fun activity we could think of, she chose hiking. So off we went with our lunch of bananas and water. (Gotta love her!) Here are some pictures documenting our journey...

And that was our hike. Some other things Norah chose to do today

• Read books
• Grilled cheese for lunch
• Make cookies (yes, they were the unhealthy ones...)
• Make a tent and eat cookies inside
• Read more books
• Take a bath with Meli
• Watch a movie (She chose Dora)
• Eat popcorn for dinner while watching said movie

I think we all had a blast and Norah is going to be in charge more often. Maybe tomorrow we will let Meli be the boss. Hopefully she chooses nap all day!

Amelia Bedelia

Carrie gave birth to the most beautiful little Girl on February 24, 2012 at 7:40pm. She was 7lbs 3oz and 19" long. Every thing went great, Carrie was in Labor for 7 hours and gave one good push and a little laugh and she was here. The Doctor said she had never seen someone "laugh a baby out". We love little Amelia and Norah is happy to have her "baby". Here are some photos taken of our wonderful family Enjoy.
